Michael Johnson Recovering From "Mini Stroke" At Home
American sprint legend Michael Johnson is currently recovering from "mini stroke" at his resident in California, after being hospitalised last week according to his statement released online.
The four-time Olympic champion made his health challenges known when he tweeted about the incident which he described as Transient Ischemic Attack otherwise known as "mini stroke" caused by poor heart condition.
He wrote in the tweet, "The good news is I'm at home with my family, cleared of any heart issues and have already made great progress on my road to full recovery."
The former fastest man, 50, holds a record set for the only athlete ever to win gold in 200m and 400m at the same Olympics Games, a feat he reached in 1996 with new world record settings.
He finished the tweet promising to keep his fans upupdated on his recovery from stroke.
