Manchester City Cross £500 Million Mark In Revenue Generation
Its all seemed to be falling in place for Premier League defending champions Manchester City, which financial books revealed they have joined European clubs that have cross the £500 million mark.
City have been recording growth in profit for four straight seasons now, and this year, according to BBC Sport, their wage-revenue stands in the ratio of 52%.
In spite of the good financial performance of the club, owner Al Mubarak in a statement revealed the club's revenue ambition is, "not completed and we have more targets to fulfil," as they yet hope to "strive for more."
City have won three out of four matches played since the season started and are currently in fourth place with 10 points behind Watford, Chelsea and Liverpool which lead the table with 12 points retrospectively.
Crossing the half a billion mark put the Pep Guardiola led side in second place behind Manchester United in the list club generating most revenue in Premier League, and in fifth place in Europe behind Real Madrid, Barcalona, Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
