LeBron James Opens Up On Commitment To L.A Lakers, Says "I'm a basketball player. I play ball"
As we know that LeBron James has many things attached to him, from being L.A Lakers player to running his own business and a lifetime deal with Nike worth $1 billion. In spite of these, he remained committed to the fact that he is a basketball player and that is all he does.
Speaking at a media day on Monday, the four-time NBA Most Valuable Player made it clear that his move to the L.A side has nothing to do with seeking career switch in Hollywood, when he was asked about his interest in getting into movie or media business.
Responding to the question asked, he said in clear terms that "my decision was based solely on my family and the Lakers. I'm a basketball player. I play ball. That's what i do."
He added that his business has no influence on his move to Lakers because it long before now "has been taking care of itself."
LeBron joined Lakers on a four-year deal valued at £116 million ($154m), and has been given a role in 90s live-action semi animated film which will be produced company SpringHill Entertainment.
In the course of the interview, he pointed out how his new franchise need to "focus on what they can do to get better every day" and make improvements before thinking of taking on NBA champions Golden State.
"There's going to be wins and losses and things of that nature. But what you can control is how you prepare every day."
