Champions League: Uefa Serves Cristiano Ronaldo One Match Ban For Red Card Recieved During Juve's Match With Valencia
Cristiano Ronaldo has been served a match ban for his dismissal from Juventus' Champions League match opening match with Valencia.
Had the Portuguese forward been issued three match ban, that would have included missing the match with his former club Manchester United and second leg match with Valencia, but Uefa's ruling on his red card would only see him miss Juve's match with Young Boys on 2 October.
The five-time CL winner was sent off for his misconduct with Valencia defender Jeisom Murillo by pulling him by his hair after a challenge went wrong.
Never before has the former Fifa best male player been dismissed from a Champions League match in his career. That was his first time.
