Champions League: Liverpool Stun Paris St-Germain With 3-2 Opening Match Win

Liverpool have started their Champions League campaign for this season on a winning note. They escaped playing draw with Paris St-Germain in their opening match with a decider from Roberto Firmino late into the match. 
After half an hour of play, Reds netted their first goal through Daniel Sturridge's header Robertson's before Jamea Milner doubled it by converting penalty conceded by Juan Bernat in 36th minutes. 
Minutes later, Thomas Meunier reduced the goals deficit for PSG by pulling a left shot from the box to make it 2-1, and after the break, the introduction of Neymar and Di Maria improved the French side tactically, leading the an equaliser from Kylian Mbappe in 83rd minutes with an assist from Neymar.

Both sides would have walked away with a point apiece until Robert Firmino drilled a shot from the area to snatch the win for Liverpool in injury time. 
Meanwhile, Mo Salah's effort in 55th minutes could have widened the goal margin for Reds but his goal was disallowed for Sturridge's foul on PSG goalkeeper. 
The loss sent the Ligue 1 champions to the bottom of Group C table, as Liverpool leads with 3 points ahead of Red Star Belgrade and Napoli which drew their opening match. 
Speaking after the match Jurgen Klopp said he knows their game in "Paris will be tough" but his glad they won their opening match in Anfield because they "deserved three points" from the game.
