Warner Bros. "The Meg" Tops At Box Office As Mission: Impossible - Fallout Global Gross Reaches $437 Million
Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Fallout maintained its good performance at the box for three weekends, and this time, it is not sitting atop but in the second place behind Warner Bros. "The Meg" which led atop with debut gross of $44.5 million.
The Paramount's action pack thriller movie raked in $20 million from the domestic market which is 43.4% drop of its debut performance at the box office, bringing its gross in 17 days after it premiered to a whopping $161.96 million. In the international market, Fallout yet have a strong performance, as it gross stands at $275 million, and adding both markets gross together that brings his global sales to $437.5 million.
Fallout performance still thrail behind its predecessor Rogue Nation (2015) at the International box which hauled in a total of $487.6 million and closing in the global market with $682.7 million.
Following Fallout in third place is Buena Vista's comedy-drama film "Christopher Robin" which hauled in $12.4 million in its second weekend, and Slender Man which made $11.3 million on his debut to be fourth.
