US Open 2018: Novak Djokovic Thrills Audience As He Eliminates Tennys Sandgren To Reach Third Round

The crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium was thrilled at the brilliance of the two-time champion Novak Djokovic in his second round match with the United States' Tennys Sandgren .
Being the dominating contender, Djokovic put the 27-year-old American to the test with missile-like forehand shots accompanied with drop shots that kept his opponent on his toes, as he cruised through the opener and second set.
At the third set, Tennys became resilient and fought back to claim the set after a tie-break with the world no. six, but unfortunately could found the same rhythm at the deciding set which Djokovic cruised through, closing the set with a  forehand shot down the line which upon its return from Tenny, he finished the game off with drop shots inside the court to win in four set by 6-1, 6-3, 6-7(2), 6-1.
Djokovic remained unbeaten by the American who he defeated in their first ATP FedEx head-to-head fixture in Wimbledon which the Serb player won in last month.
In the third round, Djokovic will take on French player Richard Gasquet who defeated Laslo Dere in three sets by 6-3, 7-6(5), 6-3.
