US Open 2018: Fernando Verdasco Eliminates Andy Murray

Britain's Andy Murray has been eliminated from the tournament after a defeat to Spanish player Fernando Verdasco in the second round at Arthur Ashe stadium.
The former champion did show resilience, but the Spaniard was up to that task, claiming the opener before losing second set to the Scot before he was rode over at the deciding sets to lose after four sets by 7-5 2-6 6-6 6-4.
The 31-year-old has been struggling to find his top form since having hip surgery which was one of the factors that led to him retiring from Washington Open in the quarter-final.
Murray did fought to stay in the tournament before showing exhaustion from the heat waves that caused him to get aggressive at his opponent whom he accused of time wasting speaking to umpire.
"He's sitting with his coach and his double partner. I had to tell them [official], because nody knows the f***ing rules," he said when the Spaniard suddenly disappearing from the court, sitting on the court-side with his coach.
Verdasco will face in the third round Juan Martin Del Potro who defeated American player Denis Kudla in three sets by 6-3 6-1 7-6(4).
