Tottenham Captain Hugo Lloris Arretsed For Driving Under Influence
Tottenham Hotspur's Hugo Lloris has been arrested by Metropolitan police for drink-driving in the early hours of Friday.
The incident happened when the goalkeeper was pulled over by the police in Gloucester Place, in West London, and was found to be driving under influence.
According to a statement released by Met Police, it was confirmed that the club's captain has been "charged with drink-driving on Friday, 24 August."
However, it went on to confirmed that "he has been bailed to return to Westminster Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, 11 Septemper."
The 31-year-old Frenchman led France to their second Fifa World Cup trophy in 20 years at the just concluded tournament in Russia.
The World Cup trophy winner joined the White Hart-based club from Ligue 1 side Lyon in 2012.
