Samuel Eto'o Joins Qatar Sports Club From Turkish Side Konyaspor
Samuel Eto'o has joined the Qatar Sports Club from Turkish side Konyaspor after both side agreed on a deal.
The Qatari side confirmed signing the former FC Barcelona forward via a tweet on Monday, announcing that a press conference would be held later in the day for their new player.
The four-time African player of the year, has played in European top leagues - Premier League (Chelsea and Everton), La Liga (Barcelona), Italian Serie A (Inter Milan), Russian Anzhi Makhachakala - before moving to Turkey and then Qatar.
During his five seasons with Barcelona, he made 144 appearances scoring 108 goals, and that included winning treble with the club and his the first African player to led the Spaniard club to two Champions League trophy in a row.
