Rogers Cup 2018: Edmund Kyle Concedes Defeat To Diego Schwartzman

Britain's no. 1 Edmund Kyle did not have the privilege of reaching the second round as a result shock defeat to Diego Schwartzman in the opening match of the tournament in Toronto.
The Argentine, 25, conveniently dominated the match over his opponent, winning most of his second-serve points and cruising through the games to claim the victory in straight sets 6-1 6-2.
Diego withstood a comeback from Brit in the second set at 2-2, brilliantly break the set to claim straight four games to have his opponent ousted.
Kyle has not found his found on hard-court as he lost to his countryman Andy Murray in the second round in Washington, and yet to take a title home this year.
"I prefer hard courts because my games fits better here," Diego said gladly after beating Kyle "becaus3 of my serve, because of my defense. I feel great here, and I hope to have a great tournament."
Diego will face in the second round either France's Adrian Mannarino or American Sam Querrey whicb has their match schedule for 16:00 pm on Tuesday August 07.
