Puma Joins Meek Mill In Giving Out 6,000 Back-To-School Backpacks To Students
The bills parents incur from having to send their children back to school after break are often such that could give them sleepless nights.
In that regards, Meek Mill wants to come in and help parents in his hometown with packages that will help their kids get back to school which he said would help them "start on the right note".
Philly rapper Meek Mill is acting on the memories of challenges his parents faced in his childhood having to get him to go to school, for that reason he has something up his sleeves for students in his community, and has teamed up with popular clothing and sportswear brands for support.
About 6,000 students will receive back-to-school backpacks from the "Wins & Losses" rapper which will be across the board, that is inclusive of those in elementary school, middle school and high school.
"Those memories stay with me," said the rapper narrating growing up with his parent and seeing them go through the hurdles of getting to foot the bills to have him go to school "that's why I'm committed to giving back to families in my hometown, putting smiles on kids faces."
Meek Mill was joined on the project by brands like Puma, United Legwear, Fanatics and his own clothing store Milano Di Rogue.
