Premier League: Paul Pogba Leads Manchester United To Winning Season's Opening Match Over Leicester City

Manchester United started off the season on a winning note as they defeated their opponents Leicester City 2-1 in their Premier League opening match.
It was evident that having France's 2018 World Cup winner Paul Pogba was worth it, as the Frenchman netted the Red Devils' first goal of the season.
Earlier into the match, Leicester dropped behind United on the score following a penalty offence committed by Daniel Amartey handling a shot from Alexis Sanchez which Pogba brilliantly converted for the opening goal in 3rd minutes.
Late into the match, United doubled the lead through Luke Shaw who brilliantly controlled and finished an aerial pass from Juan Mata in 83rd minutes.
The visitors Foxes managed to get a consolation goal off United through Jamie Vardy who finished an attempt from teammate Ricardo Perreira which caught the bar in 90th + 2 minutes.
The hosts United went away with maximum points at the expense of former 2015/16 League champions Leicester which have not won an opening match against Red Devils in three seasons.
