Chelsea remained unbeaten under their new manager Maurizio Sarri, winning their third match of the season by defeating Newcastle United 1-2 at St. James' Park on Sunday.
The Magpies didn't give in easily to their opponents and held on until late into the game when Fabian Schar conceded a penalty which Belgian international Eden Hazard converted for Chelsea's opening goal in 76th minutes.
The score-line soon level up when Joselu headed in a cross DeAndre Yedlin to give Newcastle the equaliser in 83rd minutes.
Chelsea soon got the much deserved victory from a match they have dictated and dominated from start, when DeAndre Yedlin deflected in a shot from Marcos Alonso in 87th minutes.
The Rafael Benitez-led side could not even the score-line once again as the match proceeded to the end in favour of the London-based club.
