Premier League: Arsenal Loss 0-2 To Manchester City In Their First League Match Without Arsene Wenger
Arsenal's manager Unai Emery did not have the privilege of getting a goal neither a points of Manchester City to which his team loss 0-2 in season opening match on Sunday.
Pep Guardiola's side snatched a goal off Arsenal to lead the match in 14th minutes through Raheem Sterling drilled 20-yard shot from outside the box.
This is Arsenal's new Spaniard manager first Premier League match test since he replaced Arsene Wenger who led the club for 22 years, and losing would not be his prefered choice and playing against City in season opening match would have been his wish either.
After over an hour of play (64th minutes), Arsenal dropped further behind City as Bernando Silva smashed into the post a cut back from Benjamin Mandy for the second goal.
However, in an interview after the match Unai Emery admitted the team could deliver the win for their supporters but confidence consequent matches will be better.
"We wanted to show our perdormance [to our supporters] and as you can see it Manchester City," said Unai "Today we can't give them this win but here we are going to feel well in the next match."
