Citi Open 2018: Andy Murray Reaches Quater-finals, Sobs After Winning Tough Match With Marius Copil
It was not easy for Andy Murray who just is recovery from hip injury, but fought through a tough match with Marius Copil to reach the quarter-finals in Washington.
The former World no. 1 made a stunning comeback after dropping the opener to the Romanian to claim the second set and make it through a tie-break at the third set to win in three sets by 6-7(5) 6-3 7-6(4).
Having defeated Marius in a round that lasted for over three hours, Murray was a bit emotional covering his face with a towel , and later said in courtside interview that it was " Just the emotions coming at the end of an extremely long day and a long match."
The Brit will face in the quater-finals Aussie De Minaur who defeated Hyeong Chung in three sets 6-2 4-6 6-2.
