Citi Open 2018: Alexander Zverev Beats Alex De Minaur To Become Youngest Player To Win In Washington, D.C. Since 1982

Zverev has claimed his career first title in Washington and his third ATP tour level title of the year 2018.
The German, 21, spent 74 minutes to brilliantly claim the victory over Aussie Alex De Minaur, 19, in a final which he dominated through and wrapped up in straight set 6-2 6-4.
As a result of winning the title on Sunday, Zverev becomes the youngest player ever to win the championship in Washington, having previous set record as the youngest player ever to win a tour level title at Madrid Open 2018.
Delightfully, Zverev said after winning the tournament, "It's quite funny, because this final could be the final of the next 15 years...It feels great. It shows mental strength as well and shows a little bit of maturity. I had a great tournament".
