Cincinnati Masters 2018: France's Lucas Pouilla Eliminates Andy Murray In Opening Match

Andy Murray could not make it through to the second round, loss to Lucas Pouilla for the first time in ATP tour level tournament at Western & Southern Open.
The two-time champion was dominated over by Frenchman who punished him for double fault at opening and third game to claim the set. He improved tremendously at the second set and won, but the France No. 1 player was up to the task at the deciding set and had the Brit knocked out in three sets by 6-1 1-6 6-4.
Murray has been battling with his form sin e his recovery from hip injury, and had to pulled out of Citi Open in the quater-finals and consequently withdrew from Rogers Cup blaming his health for his decision.
Pouilla, 24, has never won a match in Cincinnati until his match with Murray, and booked to face in the next round either Argentine Leonardo Mayer or American Michael Mmoh.
