Beyoncé Fronts U.S Vogue's September Issue Cover
Coming up on issue cover of U.S Vogue magazine is the RnB songstress and mother-of-three Beyoncé who will be fronting on the magazine cover.
Spetember issue is the magazine's most lavish and patronized edition, and making this year's even more unique, the "Formation" songstress was photographed by a 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell who happened to be the first African American to have shot a cover in the magazine's entire history.
On the cover, the former Destiny's Child star was dressed in a off white gown with a floral hat on, wearing a make-up free face without earrings or necklaces.
"After the birth of my first child, I believed in the things society said about how my body should look," she said recalling when she gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy in 2012 "I out pressure on myself to lose all the baby weight in three months...Looking back that was crazy."
She narrated her ordeal with carrying the pregnant of her twin baby - Rumi and Sir - which she revealed was different from her first and had to go deliver by C-section, and her husband Jay-Z was also by her side throughout.
"I was 218 pounds the day I gave birth to Rumi and Sir," she revealed "my health and my babies' health were in danger, so I had an emergency C-section. My husband was a soldier and such a strong support system for me."
Speaking of her joint tour "On The Run II" with her husband Jay-Z, she pointed out the memorable of all was one she did at Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany and giving her reason for it it she recalled the history of hate, racism and divisiveness attached to the location.
"it is the place where Jesse Owens won four gold medals...Less than 90 years later, two black people performed there to a packed, sold-out stadium."
