Belgian Grand Prix 2018: Sebastian Vettel Claims Victory, Closes In On Lewis Hamilton In Championship Lead

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel dominated and dictated the pace over his Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to claim the victory at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamp in Belgian Gran Prix on Sunday.
Hamilton was ahead after a chaotic start with McLaren Marcos Alonso, Renault's Nico Hulkenberg and Charles Leclerc, but Sebastian soon overtake him at the first lap and stayed on in front through to the finish line in 1:23:34.476sec, as Mercedes' lead driver finished in second place, ahead of Max Verstappen who made podium position for Red Bull in third place.
Effectively, Sebastian closes in on Hamilton in world championship lead, reducing the lead by 17 points. He is in second place in driver standings with 214 points behind Hamilton who is in first place with 231 points.
Merdeceds boss Toto Wolff lamented their disadvantage of not having faster car as Ferarri saying after the race "we were swallowed up on the straight. We are lacking traction and really just not where we should be on the slow speed. That's not good at all., we were blistering the tyres. I do not see many positives from today."
