After completing the deal with Chelsea on Wednesday, Kepa who his Spain's number two after United David de Gea expressed his delight at moving to Stanford Bridge saying, "so many things attracted me to the club - all the title has won, the players, the city, the English Premier League...I am very glad Chelsea has decided to trust me and to take me in as well."
In January, Kepa signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao which was meant to last until 2025 before that abruptly ended with a move to Chelsea.
