Wimbledon 2018: Roger Federer Thrashes Lukas Lacko To Reach Third Round
Lukas Lacko did not have much resilience against Swiss ace Roger Federer who conveniently thrashed him to reach third round at Wimbledon.
The top seed and ATP world ranked no. 2 cruised through the match in straight sets 6-4 6-4 6-1 extending his ATP FedEx Head2Head count in all tournaments with the Slovakian to 2:0.
Federer brilliantly contained the Slovakian who was attempting to use drop shots to work him out, and used his serves and forehand shots to put him in check. The world ranked 73rd was forced to dropped more points as the Swiss controlled the games with his serves and forehand shots.
The twenty-five Grand Slam winner has now extended his grass-court set wins to 26 as he bids for his ninth title - currently he is the highest winner at Wimbledon with eight titles.
He will face in the third round either Jenn-Lennard or Ivo Karlovic.
