Wimbledon 2018: Roger Federer Cruises To Quarter-finals, Beats Adrian Mannarino

Roger Federer conveniently thrashed Frenchman Adrian Mannarino as he moved closer to claiming his ninth title at the Championship.
The Swiss recorded his consecutive 32nd set win at Wimbledon after reaching the quarter-finals in straight sets 6-0 7-5 6-4 win over Mannarino in a match that lasted for an hour and 45 minutes on Centre Court.
The top seed blasted off through the opener as Adrian was yet to find himself in the set which the Swiss cleanly won by 6-0 in just 16 minutes.
The Frenchman later gained courage to get into the match and quickly claimed three break points in the second set to hold serve, but the eight-time champion yet forced him to concede to defeat after breaking the set, and proceeded to do the same at the third set.
Federer maintains a clean sheet with Adrian in four ATP FedEx Head2Head encounters, as he moved closer to winning the 99th trophy of his career on Centre Court.
Speaking about how he has managed to come this far, the world number two said it's not really about doing "anything specific" but what matters is "really about being just solid."
