Real Madrid Dismiss Offering Neymar Jr. Seven-Year Deal Of £275 Million
Real Madrid has come out to dismiss a report that it has launch an extraordinary bid for Paris St-Germain forward Neymar Jr with a record-breaking offer of £275 million (€310 million) to his club.
On Monday, Spanish television station TVE, reported that the Spaniard side are making moves to getting the Brazilian over to Bernabeu offering seven year deal with annual wages of £40m (€45m) to PSG for the forward, and alongside they hope to sign France Kylian Mbappe whose performance at the World Cup in Russia has been impressive.
In response to the report from TVE, Real issued a statement to dismiss the claim where it described as "absolute false".
"After the information broadcast tonight by TVE about a supposed offer from Real to PSG and to the player Neymar, Real Madrid CF States that said information is absolutely false. Real Madrid had not made any type of offer to PSG nor the player," the statement read.
"To Real Madrid it is surprising that the Spanish public broadcaster has been able to broadcast absolutely false information without anybody at the channel having made contact with anyone to confirm the supposed information that is easily proven false."
However, the PSG forward has led his country to the quarter-finals of the World Cup after 2-0 defeat of Mexico in the round of Last 16 and are set to face Belgium.
