Russia 2018 World Cup: Belgium Wins Bronze Medal After 2-0 Win Over England In Third Place Play-Off

England have completed their World Cup campaign without a medal, they lose to Belgium 2-0 their third place playoff to finish fourth - Harry Kane takes the tournament's golden boot for his team anyways.
Belgium did not have the most in possession but they were more creative in the midfielder and effective in the front than their English counterparts.

The opening goal came in very early in the game when Eden Hazard crossed the ball into the area for a strike which Thomas Meunier swift stretched out his right-foot to reach and poked the ball in 4th minutes.
England came close to nailing an equalizer in 70th minutes as Dier poked the ball over Courtois who rushed out to stop him in the six-yard box but Belgium's Alderweireld managed to clear off the ball just on the line.

Hazard settled the victory for Belgium, nailing in the second and winning goal with a right-footed shot in the area after De Bruyne set him off with a through pass in 82 minutes. 
Having won the play-off, Belgium completed their second World Cup campaign with a bronze medal to finish third behind either France or Croatia.
