Rick Ross Sued For Copyright Infringement, Asked To Pay $9,999 For Theft
Rick Ross will have to explain how he come about Mayback Music to one artist who claimed the catchphrase is just rip off from his song.
Young Muhammad has been on this case since last year when he first alleged Rosey stole the idea from songs "Caprice Music" which he did in 2007 and threatened to take him to court for doing so because he technically infringement on his intellectual property.
As TMZ revealed, Young stated in his legal doc that he featured the MMG rapper on the song in which the catchphrase was first used before Da Boss turned out to use it as his im his music and as label.
In spite of all this, Young intended not to inconvenient Rick Ross with huge demand for infringement. He only wants him to pay in just $9,999.
However, Rick Ross and his legal team are yet to respond to claims from Young and if they would accept to hand out the amount asked to him.
