Offset Regains Freedom, Granted Bail At $17,000

Offset has regained his freedom following his arrest for gun and cannabis possession when he was pulled over by a cop while traveling outside of Atlanta on Friday.
The Houston-based rapper was granted bail at $17,000 (£13k) at an Atlanta courthouse on Saturday where he was arranged for two count charge of felony, misdemeanour and unlawfully changing lane.
The rapper's lawyer Drew Findling criticised the authorities for arresting his client and blamed the situation on being targeted for being a successful artist.
He told TMZ that the rapper did not break any laws but this happened because he is "a young, African-American man driving a shiny, beautiful luxury car and cad in designer clothes and watches and jewellery."
Findling went further to criticised the police that they often believe that the lifestyle of an African-American of genre "is connected to some illegal activity".
The 26-year-old has returned home to his wife Cardi B and daughter Kulture after his released from police custody.
