Neymar Jr. Dismissess Link To Real Madrid Says "I Want To Stay At Paris St-Germain"
Neymar Jr. wants everyone to know that he remained committed to Paris St-Germain and dismissed claims of any link move to Real Madrid.
Ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left Bernabeu, there has been speculations that the Brazilian has been of interest to the Spaniard side as a potential replacement for the Portuguese.
All that did not go down well with the 26-year-old who revealed in a statement at a charity event that he is ready to leave at the moment and his remained focus on his "objective" at the club.
"I'm staying, I'm staying in Paris. I have a contract. Most of the speculation is made by the media," he insisted on remaining at PSG.
"Everybody knows my objective, why I went to Paris. I want to have success with that club and I hope next season could be wonderful."
Meanwhile, Real have also come out to clear the air on this issue in a statement released last week saying "the club has no intention of making any offer for the player... If Real Madrid were at any stage to consider securing the service of a PSG player, they would approach the club in the first instance."
However, Neymar joined the Ligue 1 side from FC Barcelona last summer on a record-breaking deal of £198m and has scored 19 goals and completed 13 assists.
