LeBron James Signs 4-Year Deal Worth $154 Million With L.A Lakers
LeBron James has moved from Cleveland Cavaliers To California side Los Angeles Lakers after signing to four-year deal valued at $154 million (£117 million).
The NBA's four-time Most Valuable Player agreed to the new deal just after a day when he was announced to be a free agent.
James' movement to L.A Lakers was confirmed by his agency, Klutch Sports Group, in a statement released at a press conference on Sunday.
The former Cavaliers player in a update on his social media account, said his goodbye to the club with which he spent four year and led to four NBA finals this year saying "Thank you Northeast Ohio for an incredible 4 seasons. This will alway be home," he said.
The 33-year-old Ohio-native will now be playing close to home in Los Angeles where he has two homes.
