FC Barcelona Annual Revenue Set Cross €1 Billion Mark

FC Barcelona are set to be the first club which annual revenues will cross €1b mark, as their financial book for last year closed at record high €914m (£809m).
In a statement released by the club, it was revealed that they will soon achieve their plan of annual revenue of €1b in few years time.
"The board has valued the final balance of the year positively, and it's in line with the strategic plan of the club to reach €1,000m of income in 2012," the Catalan-based club said.
In the year 2017/18, during which they broke their transfer record signing twice, the club recorded operation cost of €32m (£28.4m) and made a net profit of €13m (£11.5m).
However, in spite of being "neck close" to cross annual revenue of €1b, they have not won the Champions League in the three consecutive years but have Copa del Rey for four straight year.
