Conor McGregor To Avoid Seven Years Jail Sentence After Pleading Guilty To Crime Committed

Former UFC champion Conor McGregor will be spared jail term and deportation from the U.S after he pleaded guilty to crime committed for attacking his UFC rivals at the sport's press conference at Brooklyn's Barclay Centre in April.
The fighter's lawyer has been working on a deal with his prosecutors to have his felony reduced to misdemeanor, and him pleading guilty to the crime committed his part of deal agreed upon between the two parties.
Speaking outside the courthouse, the Irishman, 30, thanked his prosecutors for the opportunity offered him "to move forward" and went on to say "I just want to say I'm thankful to the DA and the judge for allowing me to move forward.
He completed the short speech saying "I want to say to my friends, my family, my fans: thank you for the support."
Having secured a deal to reduce his crime to avoid seven years jail sentence, he will have to do five days community service to have his case cleared.
In April, McGregor led a band of friends amongst which was a fighter Crowley to attack their rivals which were in a coach at Brooklyn's Barclay Centre parking lot, throwing missiles at coach they were in, and leaving one of them injured.
