Chelsea FC Appoint Maurizio Sarri As New Manager

Maurizio Sarri has been appointed as Chelsea FC new manager on a five-year contract following the dismissal of Antoino Conte on Thursday.
In a statement released the club's director Marina Granovskaia, he expressed their trust in Maurizio to deliver as they expect to be "competing for trophies by the end of the season which is what the club deserves."
He went further to say "We are delighted welcome Maurizio and are looking forward to him bringing his football philosophy to Chelsea."
Chelsea also announced the appointed on their followers on social media account with a picture update of the new manager.

The former Napoli manager presided over the Italian side three seasons (2015-18) as replacement for Rafael Benitez. In his first year at the club, they finished the season in second place behind Juventus, and in 2016/17 he led the club to their first "Campioni d'Inverno" title (Winter Champions) for the first time in 26 years.
