Russia 2018 World Cup: Hirving Lozano Leads Mexico To 1-0 Victory Over Germany, Their First Opening Match Defeat In 36 Years

Germany would not have thought they would drop the opener to Mexico at the World Cup, and that did happened after 36-years when Germany loss opening match to Algeria in Espana 1982.
Mexico left the German stunned with 1-0 defeat in the opening match of Group F at the World Cup in Russia.
Germany had all the possession but the different came from the winning side playing on counter which put up a strong defense against their opponents to hold on to the lead to full time.

The victory came in for Mexico after a fast break, which led to Hernandez laying off a pass through to Hirving Lozano who cut in on the ball and drilled right-footed shot from 14-yard through to the post in 35 minutes.
Lozano nets the winning goal for Mexico
The match went through to the end of both halves to the advantage of the Mexicans who won at full time by 1-0 over Germany.
Germany in their next fixture will take Sweden and Mexico will face South Korea both scheduled for Saturday June 23rd.
