Russia 2018 World Cup: Cristiano Ronaldo Nets Hat-Trick As Portugal Draws Spain
It is no doubt that Cristiano Ronaldo is an incredible player as he single-handedly lead Portugal to a draw with Spain at their Group B opening match in Sochi.
Spain were all-over the place and well dominated the match, but with Ronaldo in front for Portugal goals did not stop coming even when it's late.
Whilst Ronaldo was incredible with Portugal, Diego Costa was fantastic for Spain netting twice to get an equaliser for his side after the Portuguese had scored twice.
The Real Madrid forward converted a penalty conceded by Nacho on him to send Portugal in the lead in 4th minutes, and again netted a second on the brink of half-time in the 44th minutes after Diego Costa had score an equaliser for Spain in the 24th minutes.

After the break, Portugal fell twice in the hands of the Spaniard as Costa tabbed into the post a headed-pass from Sergio Busquet in 55th minutes before Nacho powered a right-footed low cut shot from outside the box to Spain in comfortable lead with a third goal in 58th minutes.
Late into the match, Ronaldo made the opening match worth with for his side as he scored with a right-footed from free-kick in 88th minutes to level the score-line with Spain.
Portugal will face in their next match Morocco and Spain will take on Iran which leads in the group with 3 points after beating Morocco 1-0.
