Opray Winfrey Ranked Amongst World's 500 Richest People

Oprah has reached a new horizon in fortune making with her net worth currently estimated at $4 billion on the Bloomberg Billionaire Index, she becomes the first black woman to be ranked amongst 500 richest individuals in the world.
How has she reached this remarkable feat? Well, the media mogul's Weight Watchers Inc is one of her investments that has been praised for being the catapulting factor. The firm's share value grew more than double the price it was when she bought it over in 2015.
As a result of the increase in the firm's share value, Oprah's fortune has grown by an estimate of $427 million which leapfrogged her a place above Mark Cuban, owner of NBA's Dallas Mavericks in the list of world's 500 richest individuals.
Currently, there is are only six female entrepreneurs including Oprah in the 500 rich list according to Bloomberg.
