When you are well-to-do like Oprah Winfrey, there is often nothing that would not be at your reach, and that is not to mention adding new properties to your investment portfolio.
The media mogul, 64, just lavished over $8.1 million (£6.1 million) on a 43-acre waterfront estate on Orcas Island which is located between two cities Seattle (United States) and Vancouver (Canada).

The beautiful mansion with properly fitted state-of-the-art facilities is a combination of 7,303 square-foot three-storey main house and a 2,948 square-foot guest house as otherwise called gallery house overlooking a private beach close by.

The two builds - main and guest house - have same number of bedrooms (four) and bathrooms (three), and all well furnished to taste of a wealthy owner like Oprah with walls and flooring done in natural wood.

The main house on the ground floor includes a dinning and a living room and a looped staircase done in natural wood leading to the second floor, and as for the the guest house, it also has posh facilities such as workshop, tea room, bar, space for craft and a underground hut.

According to a celebrity lifestyle and estate site Velvet.com which broke the news, the legendary media icon has already completed the payment for the mansion, and it stated that she doled out the money in two separate transactions though her Oprah Winfrey Network - all transactions was completed last Thursday.
