'Avengers: Infinity War' Crosses $2Bn Mark Globally
This year has been a remarkable one for Marvel, not only does it has Ryan Cooglar directed film 'Black Panther' success to celebrate, but also Anthony and Joe Russo directed film 'Avengers: Infinity War' which has crossed the $2bn mark at the box office worldwide.
On it seventh weekend, it hauled in $7.2mn to bring it domestic gross to a total of $656.1mn, having netted a record setting gross of $1.34bn in the international market.
Infinity War which bagged a record-breaking gross of $257.6 mn on it opening weekend, is set to upset record set by Star Wars: The Force Awakens ($2.06bn) for all-time biggest gross at the box office.
Besides The Force Awakens, it also trails behind big earners such as Titanic ($2.18bn), and Avatar ($2.78bn) in all-time biggest grossers in box office history.
