Liverpool Close In On Signing Lyon's Nabil Fekir For £57 Million Amidst Player's Club Disapproval

Liverpool have reached advanced stage in talks with Lyon's forward Nabil Fekir to completed for a transfer deal worth £57 million and a add-on of about £5 million. 
The 24-year-old France international is reportedly said to be heading to London for his medical to seal the deal with the English side on Friday. 
However, the club's President Juan Michel-Aulas reportedly is not disposed to the transfer, and his position on this is that the deal remains at a "standstill" until after the World Cup in Russia. 
"The [transfer] is at a standstill," Aulas said in disagreement with closing a deal with Liverpool on Thursday.
Speaking about the reasons for his position on the deal he said "I do not think there is any change before the World Cup," and about the fee Liverpool has offered, he stated that they [Lyon] have "not set a base price because we have not discussed this yet."
Liverpool have not giving a statement on the disputed signing of Fekir whose club mainatined it position in a video tweeted to it social media account with a caption that reads as, "Nabil Fekir will not close before or during the World Cup."
