Has Chelsea FC Owner Roman Abramovic Severed Investments In The United Kingdom

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovic has not been having it smooth with it documentation in the United Kingdom which culminated in his absence at his club's FA Cup final win over Manchester United last month.
After a month of delay in his entrepreneur visa processing at the UK Home Office, the Russia-oligarch who returned to his country as he awaits the approval of his visa application, later opted to switched nationality and as being Jewish, became an Israeli citizen under the country's Law of Return which allows the right to any Jews anywhere in the world to automatically become a citizen.
The mogul's spokesperson confirmed his new nationality in an interview with an Israeli television station Channel 10 that "he filed a request to receive an immigration permit, his documents were checked according to the Law of Return, and he was indeed found eligible."
In the midst of this, he football club have suspended indefinitely it planned construction of new stadium with 60,000 capacity estimated to cost at least £1 billion, a reason for which the club blamed on what described as "unfavourable investment climate".
The club announced this on its official site in a statement that reads as:"The Chelsea Football Club has announced today that it has put its new stadium project on hold. No further preconstruction design and planning work will occur. The Club does not have a timeframe set for reconsideration of its decision. The decision was made due to the current unfavourable investment climate."
Whilst the Russian oligarch visa renewal difficulties in the United Kingdom persists, it was learned that he has withdrawn his application from the Home Office on Friday.  
The oil-tycoon who owns a property worth £90 million in Kensington Garden, in London is estimated to have a net-worth of £9.3 billion according to the Sunday Times Rich List, making him the 13th richest person in the United Kingdom.
However, the Israeli passport he currently carries allows him to enter the UK without visa and can stay for as long as six month but would not be eligible to work in the country otherwise he would need to apply for work permit.
Reasons for the delay in the billionaire's visa renewal remained unknown but this is happening in the wake of strained diplomatic relations between Russia and the United Kingdom which was following an attempted murder of two Russia in Britain by the using of a nerve agent for which Russia has been blamed.
