French Open 2018: Rafael Nadal Will Face Dominic Thiem In Final After Beating Juan Del Potro Comfortably In Semi-final
Rafael Nadal comfortably thrashed Argentine Juan Del Potro in three straight sets 6-4 6-1 6-2 to reach the final at Roland Garros.
The 10-time champion dominated the games all through with excellence shots with his forehand, and keeping his balls deep in the back forcing the Argentine to make more unforced errors - over 24 by the third set - as he swept through the sets to win the match that lasted for over two hours.
Having reached the final in his bid for 11th time, Nadal will face Austrian Dominic Thiem who ousted him out of Madrid Open in the quater-finals, leading to his drop in ATP ranking to world no. 2 before winning in Rome to regain the top seed ranking.
Meanwhile, the Austrian reached the final after fighting through a tough match with Italian Marco Cecchinato which he won in three sets by 6-5 7-6 (12-10) 6-1
