French Open 2018: Rafael Nadal Cruises Through To Round Of 16, Knocks Out Frenchman Richard Gasquest

It was another successful round for the World no. 1 Rafael Nadal as he cruised through to round of 16 after a convenient win over Frenchman Richard Gasquest at Roland Garros.
The Spaniard controlled the match throughout, giving no chances to the Frenchman at the sets and after about two hours of play, the 31-year-old conceded to defeat to the top seed in three sets by 6-3, 6-2, 6-2.
Rafael, who is on the course for his 11th title at Roland Garros, described playing against the Frenchman as "emotional thing", stated his reasons he says, "I don't know what the others think. All I know is about me. What I know is I go to the court, and I know that I could very well lose. I can win, I can lose. I don't come here saying, You can't win against me...Richard is someone I really appreciate. I'm just sorry that he had to play me again here. But that's the sport."
In FedEx ATP head-to-head count, the Spaniard keeps a clean sheet with his Frenchman in their sixteen encounters.
