Fever-Tree Championships: Novak Djokovic Records 800th Match Win After Beating Adrain Mannarino To Reach Semi-finals

Novak Djokovic has reached a remarkable milestone of 800th match win of his career after beating Adrian Mannarino in the quarter-finals at the Fever-Tree Championships. 
Adrian started off ahead of the former world champion at the opener by 2-3 before he picked up on his momentum, and knocked out the Frenchman in straight sets by 7-5, 6-1 after over an hour of play. 
The Serb won his seventh match wins of the season to book his place in the semi-final at the tournament in which he is appearing for the first time in six years.
"It's a great achievement. When you work all your life for something and then you get awards for it," he said about winning his 800th match.
"It's obviously very positive and I'm thrilled. I'm grateful, as well, that I'm able to play so many matches, and to win so many matches in my career. Tennis is still the sport that I love with all my heart. I put my heart into it every single day."
As a result of reaching the feat, Djokovic is the 10th player in the list of of players who have past the mark in ATP Open Era history. 
The 12-time Grand Slam winner will face in the semi-final Jeremy Chardy who defeated Frances Tiafoe in straight sets by 6-4 6-4.
