Fever-Tree Championships: Australia's Nick Kyrgios Beats Andy Murray On His Return


After staying out-of-action for nearly a calendar year, Andy Murray made a return to court but could not make it through the opener at the Queen's Open.
The Briton impressively won the opener until the Stuttgart Open semi-finalist Nick Kyrgios rallied points and progressively overpowered his opponent narrowly won both remaining sets after over two and half hour to come out as the winner in three sets by 2-6, 7-6(7-4), 7-5.
The Australian became more aggressive at the third set when both player even at 4-4, he rallied points to break the set and sealed his victory with a forehand which Murray did not return.
This win makes the Australian's first win in four appearance at the Fever-Tree Championships, and will face Murray's compatriot's Edmund Kyle at the second set.
