Fever-Tree Championship 2018: Novak Djokovic To Play At The Queen's Club, His First In Eight Years
Previously, Novak Djokovic was unsure of his participation in grass-court season after his exit in the quater-finals at Roland Garros after a defeat to Italy's Marco Cecchinato, and that uncertainty has changed as he will be playing at the Queen's Club.
The 12-time Grand Slam champion changed his mind and chose to pick up a late wildcard to play in next week Fever-Tree Championship at the Queen's Club for the first time in eight years.
The 2008 finalist said he's "very excited" playing at the event once again which he last did in 2010.
"I have memories of reaching the final at The Queen's Club 10 years ago and also winning the double title last time I was there," he said.
Djokovic was beating at the final of the Championship in 2008 by world no. 1 Rafael Nadal in straight sets by 7-6 7-5.
"The grass courts are always perfect, the atmosphere always great and I am looking forward to playing in front of the British crowds again."
The Serb has not been able to reached the final of any tournaments this year and his recent one was a defeat to Cecchinato at Roland Garros who was later beaten by 11-time champion Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals.
