FA Announces Winter Break For Premier League Clubs From 2019/20 Season
The Football Association in England has announced the approval of winter break for Premier League clubs starting from February in 2019/2020 season.
This FA chief executive Martin Glenn confirmed the development in a statement in which he described the changes made to Premier League calendar as "significant moment" and of a "great benefit to the club and country".
He went on talking about how changes made that is "no secret that we have a very congested fixture calender and over recentbyeads we have been working with the whole game to f8nd a solution."
The break which is a welcomed development by most of the players question in a survey conducted by Fifpro, will be in two splits running across two weeks.
In the stretch of two straight weekends, five matches will be played in each including moving of FA Cup fifth during the weekends to midweek without any replays inbetween.
