Ed Sheeran Accused Of Sampling Marvin Gaye's Song

Ed Sheeran seemed to have a question to answer with the law as a company is pressing a charge against him that one of his songs is a rip of from Marvin Gaye's.
The company, Structured Asset Sales, alleged the pop singer's "Thinking Out Loud" is a sampling from one of Marvin's hit songs "Let's Get It On". The company said reasons being that both songs appeared to have a lot of things similar.
The Grammy nominated song recorded a huge success in sale to the tune of £100 million copies, and now Structured Asset is claimed it has right to the song which they alleged his a sample of their's since they have bought one third of the copyright from song writer Edward Townsend.
Structure claimed melody, rhythms, baseline, drum, harmony and every other things that makes both songs are very similar.
This is such huge legal battle for Sheeran because the song's album 'X' reportedly sold more than 15 million copies in equivalent album units.
There has not been reports of respond from Sheeran's team to the allegations yet.
