Eastbourne International 2018: Caroline Wozniacki Defeats Aryna Sabalenka In Final To Win For The First Time In Nine Years

Caroline Wozniacki as emerged as the winner title at Eastbourne after a tough final match with Belarus' Aryna Sabalenka at the final.
The top seed was on top of her game and defeated the first-timer Sabalenka who on her debut is playing her career's first final in straight sets by 7-5 7-6(5).
The Danish, 28, at the second set recovered from 1:4 down and break the serve at 4:5, went on to  save straight 8 points out of 9 to move up in the lead by 6:5, and proceeded to win the match after a tie-break by saving five straight points to break the set to claim her second title at Eastbourne since 2009.
Last year, Caroline loss in the final to Czech player Karolina Pliskova who won in straight sets by 6-4 6-4. 
Speaking about winning the title, the two-time champion said "It just amazing [to win the title]. It's been a long time ago that I was here as the winner of this tournament. So, it great that I can still play almost ten years later."
In addition, she admitted the final match with Sabalenka as a tough one saying, "I was just think she's some many sets , she played double yesterday and she's still out here playing so much energy."
