Eastbourne International 2018: Britain's Edmund Kyle And Cameron Norrie Knocked Out In Quarter-finals
It was not a good day for British number one Edmund Kyle as he joined Cameron Norrie in exit from the tournament after a defeat to Russia's Mikhail Kukushkin at Eastbourne on Thursday.
Edmund managed to win the opener, hence, he was overpowered by the world number 90, and dropped two remaining sets to be beaten after three sets by 5-7, 6-3, 6-1.
The Russia displayed an impressive performance, coming from behind to win the match. He swittly moved up in lead at the second set by 3-1 saving more points on his first serve than the Brit, and being more aggressive with shots, he forced the second seed out of the tournament.
In another event, British number two Cameron Norrie was comfortably knocked out by Lukas Lacko in straight sets by 6-3 6-4.
Mikhail will face in the semi-finals Germany's Mischa Zverev who defeated Denis Shapovalov in straight sets by 6-3 6-3
