Designer Cries Out For Not Being Acknowledged For Making Super Eagles' Outfit
The man who designed the Nigerian Super Eagles' casual outfit worn at the on-going World Cup in Russia, has come out to expressed his dissatisfaction with public for not being duly recognised for good job done.
The designer, Esimaje Awani CEO of GT Stitches, cleared his mind on this in a phone conversation with a Nigerian media outlet Daily Sun, during which he explained how he came up with the design that the country's national team are being praised for without acknowledging him.
"It was actually when I saw the advert of the design on different blog and newspapers even television stations without giving credits to me," he expressed his displeasure at the treatment he has got for his intellectual property. "If not for MITV that came to grant me interview on Saturday [last weekend], nobody knew I was actually the designer of the Super Eagles' dress."

Awani went further to add that the "design is borne out of love and passion for Nigeria" and importantly his confidence in it.
However, the Nigerian team earned the praise of the public for the dress which the BBC described as "the team with the best travelling uniform" at the 2018 World Cup.
