Brawl Breaks Out Between Mesut Özil And Germany Fans Over Shock Exit From The World Cup
Mesut Özil nearly got into a brawl with fans over Germany's shock defeat to South Korea which resulted in their exit from the World Cup.
In spite of the Arsenal player obvious displeasure at his country's 0-2 defeat, a group of fans could not hold their temper and yet ragged at the midfielder on his way to the tunnel after the match.
The 29-year-old could have engaged the fans in an complete break down of feud but one of the team's member of staff quickly interrupted the scene and calm the situation.
The shock defeat was such that was least expected at the World Cup because the defending champions have never been knocked out in group stage since 1938, and having to happen to the team in Russia, Özil neither the fans were having it in any sense.
